Nursery Opening Update
Hurrah, it has at last stopped snowing! Each Nursery and SOC will be open and back to business as usual on Monday morning 5th March. However we do have a lot of snow to remove before then. We hope to have a snow plough clearing the nursery carparks from Sunday lunch time, firstly at Dumbarton and then at Alexandria (we are hoping that the base will clear the Clyde Nursery carpark).
Many parents have kindly offered their help and it would be really great and very much appreciated if volunteers could turn up at Dumbarton and Alexandria nurseries from 10-11am tomorrow (Sunday 4th March) armed with snow shovels etc, not to clear the carpark but to help in clearing pedestrian access into the nursery buildings, eg ramps and pathways to the entrances and at the sides of the buildings.
Thank you in advance for your help. Tea/coffee and biscuits will be on offer after all the hard work is done.
