Recruitment and Training
Carousel Nurseries Ltd actively recruit staff throughout the year, and welcome applications from both qualified and unqualified staff. We work closely with training organisations and often recruit Modern Apprentices and those who are looking for a work placement. We welcome students from Clydebank College and Anniesland College and Carousel Training who join us to complete their placement in nursery, while undertaking their Childcare qualifications.
We have positive links with local Secondary Schools through offering work experience and enhancement classes run by Nursery Managers and Argyll College. We will continue to work with Carousel Training Centre, Tell Training, Experiential Play Training Agency and West College of Scotland as a means of providing an employment route for Young People
All staff play an important role in the ‘Carousel Jigsaw’ and Support Staff are equally as important to the smooth running of our Nurseries, so we welcome applications from those looking to pursue an Administration or Auxiliary career path.
Vacancies may be advertised on the Job Centre Plus website, but where there are no current vacancies, we are happy to keep applications on file and invite you to attend an interview at a later date.
All vacancies are filled by the individual completing a formal interview and a two hour work trial.
