September Focus – 3-5 years – All about me and my Community
We will spend the early part of the month getting to know the new children who have moved in to Butterflies and Busy Bees. Your child’s Key Person will be making time to speak to you and your child to find out their personal preferences and to help them settle into their new routine.
Children will be also be familiarising themselves with Nursery routines, finding toothbrushes, snack names, using gingerbread men etc and developing a knowledge of all areas of the playroom as well as the ‘Golden Rules’ with regards to playing, caring, sharing and tidying up in Nursery.
The children will be introduced to a wide range of learning as staff deliver a broad spectrum of activities relevant to the time of year and seasonal changes and they will develop ideas suggested by the children.
