Alexandria Nursery – Eco Schools Scotland – Award of Second Green Flag
We were really pleased to receive the news on 25th May that we have been successful in gaining our second Green Flag. This award is for our continued hard work in improving eco initiatives in and around Nursery. The application for the second Green Flag was similar to the first, in that we had to send a document which consolidated all the work we have done over the last 2 years, since we were awarded our first Green Flag. We submitted our Environmental Review and other pieces of evidence, such as photographs, monitoring charts and other documents detailing good practice. Such a lot of hard work goes into eco initiatives in Nursery with great effort from children, staff, parents and other family members, so we are delighted to be awarded the second Green Flag in recognition of all we have achieved.
